Registration Opens August 26th!

Cleanup sites are updated regularly on the VOLUNTEER page - take a look to find cleanup locations near you! Coastal locations are popular, but consider volunteering at a canyon or park to prevent litter from entering our waterways!

Check out all the available contests and volunteer perks for our awesome volunteers on the Event Info page, like discounted tickets to the 9/24 Padres vs. Dodgers game, the Sony Photo Contest (with a 65th Anniversary throwback twist!) and Commemorative Scout Patch!

Tamarack Avenue and Carlsbad Blvd., Carlsbad, CA 92008

DIRECTIONS:
From I-5: Exit Tamarack Avenue and head west towards the beach.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
State Parks CANNOT provide free parking at this site, and volunteers must pay for parking or park in nearby legally designated parking spots. We’ll be meeting at the end of the Tamarack State Beach parking lot, located at the intersection of Carlsbad Boulevard and Tamarack Avenue. Look for the white pop up tents and the Engel & Völkers flags. We will provide light snacks, and we’ll be hosting a free drawing with multiple prizes. Entries can be earned for arriving on time, bringing a completed waiver, providing your own reusable supplies, and more. There will be a diving group participating from this location, and some groups will be heading along the lagoon trail and roadside sidewalk to collect inland debris. Reflective safety vests are available. Some of these paths are wheelchair and stroller friendly. All ages and abilities are welcome. Bathrooms, drinking fountains, and showers are conveniently located nearby. Please note this is a paid parking lot. It is $10 to park in this lot for the duration of the event. Free parking is available along Carlsbad Boulevard just north and south of the site, as well as in the adjacent neighborhoods.

Note! Every participant in CCD needs to sign a waiver; anyone under the age of 18 needs a parent or guardian signature to participate! Download English waiver here. Descargar renuncia de demanda en espanol aqui
