Registration Opens August 26th!

Thank you to the thousands of volunteers who joined us at Coastal Cleanup Day in 2018! 6,808 volunteers joined in at 106 sites to collect 138,499 pounds of debris. 

Please check out all the available contests and volunteer perks for our awesome volunteers on the Event Info page. 

Site Captains Needed to Lead Locations

We are searching for dedicated volunteers to help coordinate and lead cleanup sites! If you are interested in taking your volunteerism further and leading a site, please review the information on the Site Captain page and contact Lauren Short lshort@cleansd.org (619) 704-2772 for more information.

Escondido - Dixon Lake

DIRECTIONS:
From the I-15: exit El Norte Pkwy, head East. Go 3 miles and turn Left onto La Honda Drive, follow to top of hill and go through Lake Dixon Ranger station (fee waived for cleanup participants), find Hilltop Picnic Area. **Meet at Hilltop Picnic Area (check-in location) is first picnic area on left hand side after passing through ranger station.**

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Since this is an inland lake site, please wear closed-toe shoes and be prepared for warmer weather.
