Cleaning the coast starts at your front door.

The 36th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day will be a virtual and remote event. Volunteer households will clean up close to home in their neighborhoods to stay safe and make a positive local impact. Visit the Volunteer page to learn how you can get involved!

Registration is not yet open! A complete list of cleanup locations and site details will be posted beginning in August when online registration will be open for volunteers. Check back for updates and to sign up for the site of your choice.

Sword Way and Winstanley Way, San Diego, CA 92130

DIRECTIONS:
From Del Mar Heights Road turn north on Lansdale Dr, go 1.4 miles and turn left on Sword Way. Go 0.5  (1/2) mile,  look for the San Diego Canyonlands banner on the fence to your left, and the brown Parks and Recreation trail marker.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
There is plenty of street parking. Volunteers should wear comfortable closed toed shoes and sun protection. Help reduce waste by bringing your own reusable water bottle, gardening or work gloves, and a bucket to collect litter. Projects include: Native garden work (planting, watering, weeding)
