Escondido – Santa Fe Creek Preserve

19109 Suerte Del Este, Escondido, CA 92029. The meeting point is on an easement road leading east off of Suerte del Este just north of where Suerte del Este crosses Escondido Creek.

DIRECTIONS:
From I-5: Exit for Via De La Valle. Turn right onto Via De La Valle. Turn right into Co Hwy S6/Paseo Delicias. Left onto El Camino Del Norte. Right onto Aliso Canyon Rd. Stay on Aliso Canyon Rd. Left onto Via De Las Flores. Continue straight onto Suerte Del Este. Volunteers will meet on an easement road off of Suerte Del Este.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
All volunteers should wear comfortable closed toed shoes, long sleeve shirts, long pants (for protection from poison oak) and sun protection. Invasive removal at SDHC’s Bridges & Santa Fe Creek Preserve along Escondido Creek. The preserve is located in Rancho Santa Fe just north of The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe. Work would be performed along and just off of Suerte del Este and would include cutting and disposing of giant reed (Arundo donax) and/or hand removal of cape ivy (Delairea odorata). Help reduce waste by bringing your own reusable water bottle, gardening or work gloves, and a bucket to collect litter.
