I Love A Clean San Diego would like to thank the 6,800 volunteers who participated in the 33rd Annual Coastal Cleanup Day for another successful year of beautifying San Diego County! Volunteers removed over 110,000 pounds of debris from 105 beaches, canyons, creeks and parks countywide on Saturday, Sept. 16th as part of this event. Many sites also hosted beautification projects like invasive plant removal, trail building, painting, and planting. View a recap of the event here.

Just for Kids...

For instructions on how to create your own repurposed sand sifter to bring to the cleanup, as well as other reusable cleanup craft ideas, visit the kids page.  Check out the Bling Your Bucket contest - thanks to all who participated and to those who brought their own reusable cleanup supplies last year!

Reduce waste at this year's cleanup by bringing along your own bucket, work gloves, and reusable water bottle. Many of our sites strive to be "zero waste" this year and you can help them!
